The baby Howler Monkeys we rescue and care for need your help – and by adopting one of these little jungle dwellers you will tremendously increase their chances of survival and a successful release back into their natural habitat. Our volunteer care givers work seven days a week – twenty four hours a day to save Howler Monkeys and you can help too.
Your monthly or one-time donation of $20 dollars or more will help us continue to provide daily care these young wild animals need to survive and grow here at Refuge for Wildlife in Nosara, Costa Rica. Click on any of the photos below to learn about each monkey and select the Howler you would like to symbolically adopt. Each page also features regular updates about the monkey’s rehabilitation and eventual release that you can follow to see the progress of the monkey you are helping.
When you take part in our Adopt A Monkey program, not only are you helping save a monkey, but you will also receive a Certificate of Adoption that you can print or email to friends and family as a gift!
It costs approximately $30 a week to provide care for one of our orphaned monkeys. Most infants will live at Refuge for Wildlife for 18-24 months before they are old enough to start a release program.
